About Mark Lowman Vocals.
Starting your singing journey can feel daunting. Whether you’re a complete beginner to singing, stepping into the studio for the first time or looking to refine your technique, it’s natural to feel a little uncertain. At Mark Lowman Vocals, I believe every voice is unique, and my mission is to create a supportive, judgement-free space where you can unlock your full, unlimited potential.
About Lessons.
In a typical one-hour vocal coaching session, we'll cover a variety of techniques tailored specifically to your needs. This may include personalised vocal warm-ups, song work, and feedback on areas for improvement. Whether you're working on a specific song or exploring new vocal exercises, the session will be designed to help you grow as a singer.

Just like any skill—whether it's going to the gym or learning an instrument—developing your voice takes time. While you'll notice some improvements fairly quickly, other areas will require more consistent practice. Think of it as a workout for your voice!

With patience, ambition, and a positive mindset, you'll be well on your way to reaching your vocal goals. Remember, vocal development is a marathon, not a sprint!

Pre-Lesson
Before your first session, you will receive a questionnaire designed to gather information about your current vocal experience, vocal health, and any specific challenges you feel may be hindering your progress. This will help us tailor the session to best address your needs and goals.

First Lesson
In your first lesson, Mark will review your responses and conduct a practical exercise to assess your current vocal abilities. This assessment will help us tailor future sessions to meet your specific needs and goals. Additionally, we’ll discuss effective strategies and exercises that you can practice at home between lessons to further enhance your vocal development.

We will then work on a song of your choice and start to implement the techniques discussed.

Future Lessons
During each coaching session, we will work on a range of exercises to address any vocal challenges you may be facing. You’ll have the opportunity to choose the songs you’d like to focus on, and Mark will guide you through specific techniques and warm-ups tailored to help you tackle those songs with confidence. The goal is to ensure that you are vocally prepared to reach your musical ambitions and perform at your best.
